Staying together does not always mean sharing one front door. For families, friends and wedding guests, separate villas close to each other can work better: the group spends time together, and each household keeps its own bedrooms, bathrooms and daily rhythm.

| Guests | Villas | Rooms | Walk between |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 12 | Villa Kitron + Villa Myrrini | 6 bedrooms · 5 bathrooms + 1 WC | About 60 m |
| Up to 14 | Villa Asteri + Villa Kitron | 7 bedrooms · 7 bathrooms + 1 WC | About 30 m |
| Up to 14 | Villa Asteri + Villa Myrrini | 7 bedrooms · 6 bathrooms | About 90 m |
| Up to 20 | All three: MAZI | 10 bedrooms · 9 bathrooms + 1 WC | 30–90 m |
| Up to 28 | MAZI, plus Villa Argiris as a separate villa with its own booking (not part of MAZI) | 14 bedrooms | Villa Argiris is in Stavromenos, about 2.6 km away |
The numbers are maximum guests. The right choice still depends on how the group divides into households.
| Choose one villa when… | Choose separate villas when… |
|---|---|
| The bedrooms and bathrooms fit every household comfortably | Adults need more private bedrooms or bathrooms |
| Everyone wants the same daily routine | Children, grandparents or friends keep different routines |
| One meeting point matters more than privacy | Privacy matters more than a little coordination |
| Everyone arrives and leaves together | Guests arrive in waves or stay different lengths |
| The group is happy to share one kitchen | Each household wants its own kitchen, pool time and quiet |
| The stay is short | The stay is a week or longer |

Answer these five questions before adding a second villa:
| Question | If the answer is yes |
|---|---|
| Can every guest be placed in a clear household? | Separate villas will give privacy, not arguments |
| Do households keep different sleep, meal or child-care routines? | Separate villas remove daily friction |
| Will each household look after its own kitchen, keys and arrival? | Separate villas are easy to run |
| Can the group agree where shared meals and outings start? | No villa turns into a common area all day |
| Do extra bathrooms and quiet space matter more than one roof? | This is usually the deciding point |
| Group | Why separate villas help |
|---|---|
| Two families | Each family runs its own meals, children and bedtimes, and meets the other for outings or dinner |
| Grandparents, parents and children | Quiet mornings for grandparents, early starts and naps for the children. Villa Argiris has all its indoor spaces on one level, if steps matter (see Multigenerational Family Trip to Crete) |
| Wedding guests | Each household gets ready and comes back to its own home (see Best Villas near Rethymno for Wedding Guests and Stay near Agreco Farm) |
| Friends arriving at different times | Late arrivals do not wake a whole house |
| Small teams and retreats | Separate homes for sleep, shared space to work and meet, free 200 Mbps Wi-Fi in every villa |

Accommodation only: the villas are places to stay, not a venue for weddings, parties or events.
Choose by how the group lives, not by the biggest number of beds.
A multi-villa stay costs the same as the villas booked separately: there is no extra charge for MAZI.

| Arrangement | Price per night | Per person, when full |
|---|---|---|
| Kitron + Myrrini (12) | €381–1,033 | About €32–86 |
| Asteri + Kitron or Myrrini (14) | €469–1,312 | About €34–94 |
| All three villas (20) | €667–1,808 | About €33–90 |
Prices depend on the season and are for the whole villas. The Breakfast Basket is included in direct bookings, and the Greek climate resilience fee is included in the price.
Transport is not included in the villa stay. Argyris can introduce you to independent local providers for car hire, private transfers or larger vehicles; the provider confirms vehicle, price, payment and cancellation terms directly with you.

Fill this in with the group and send it to Argyris, or use the online group planner, which checks each villa’s capacity for you:
| Villa | Household | Guests (adults + children) | Arrival time | Keys and contact |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Villa Asteri | … | … | … | … |
| Villa Kitron | … | … | … | … |
| Villa Myrrini | … | … | … | … |

Separate villas work when the group agrees what will be shared and what will remain private. Before booking, decide which household belongs in each villa and where everyone will meet. That small conversation prevents the group from treating every house as a common area all day.

No. The group uses more than one private villa during the same dates, with each household keeping its own base throughout the stay.
It depends on the households. One villa can simplify a smaller stay; separate villas can work better when guests need more privacy, bathrooms, different routines or separate arrival plans.
For up to 12 guests, MAZI can combine Villa Kitron with Villa Myrrini. For up to 14, it can combine Villa Asteri with either Villa Kitron or Villa Myrrini. For up to 20, MAZI combines all three villas in Asteri Village. Availability is confirmed for every required home.
MAZI combines two or three of Villa Asteri, Villa Kitron and Villa Myrrini in Asteri Village, for up to 12, 14 or 20 guests. The villas remain separate private homes.
About 30 m between Villa Asteri and Villa Kitron, 60 m between Villa Kitron and Villa Myrrini, and 90 m between Villa Asteri and Villa Myrrini, all in Asteri Village. Ask Argyris about steps and slopes if walking is difficult for anyone in the group.
No. MAZI costs the same as the villas booked separately, with no extra charge. You receive one combined proposal, and each villa keeps its own booking reference and payment.
No. Villa Argiris is in Stavromenos, about 2.6 km from Asteri, and is not part of MAZI. For groups of more than 20, it can be booked separately together with MAZI, for up to 28 guests in two locations.
Agree the household allocation, shared meals, pool expectations, meeting points, cars, host contact, arrival waves and quiet times before travelling.
Yes. The minimum stay varies by villa and season, and the booking engine confirms it for your dates. For a wedding weekend or another short stay, ask Argyris what is possible.
Tell Argyris how many guests are coming, the household groups, bedroom priorities, children’s ages, mobility questions and arrival pattern. Argyris can then help you compare one villa with a two- or three-villa MAZI arrangement.
