A holiday rhythm that does not need to be organised

What makes Kitron work is that everyone finds their own corner. Some stay by the pool, someone reads in the garden, others take a drink up to the veranda. You’re together, but nobody has to spend the whole day in the same spot.

With a bathroom for every bedroom, mornings run smoothly, whether you’re parents, grandparents or friends. The ground-floor twin room sits apart from the two bedrooms upstairs, and the living room, sitting area and kitchen are where everyone meets.

This is not a villa that depends on grand statements. Its appeal is practical: private space, uncomplicated comfort, outdoor life and the quiet pace of Asteri Village.

“The furnishings match the pictures 1:1 and everything you could need is there … A special plus – every room has its own bathroom. The surroundings are quiet and green, and the garden is beautifully kept.”— Stefanie, guest · Airbnb ★★★★★ · October 2025 · translated from German
Pool and outdoor spaces · Villa Kitron

Three outdoor moods within one stay

Breakfast happens at the outdoor table. By midday everyone drifts to the pool and the umbrellas. In the evening, head upstairs: the first-floor veranda, about 40 m², has room to eat and sit, with views to the sea, over Asteri and across the countryside.

The pool

The private pool covers approximately 31 m². Its depth increases gradually from about 1.00 to 1.50 metres. Hydromassage is integrated into the main pool rather than provided as a separate spa or hot tub. The pool is a skimmer pool and is not heated.

Garden and outdoor cooking

With sunbeds, umbrellas and the citrus garden around you, it’s easy to let a whole day go by at the villa. Light the BBQ or the wood-fired oven, and lunch or dinner simply becomes part of it.

Pool safety

Villa Kitron does not have a separate children’s pool. The main pool is not separately fenced or gated. Children must be supervised by a parent or accompanying adult at all times in and around the pool.

A bathroom for every bedroom really helps when adults and children keep different hours, or when relatives and friends want a bit more privacy. Choose a photo to see the room and its bathroom.

Bed setup. As standard: one double room and two twin rooms. On request (€20 per change), the two single beds in each twin room can be joined into a 180 × 200 cm double, so the villa can have up to three double rooms. Tell Argyris your preferred setup before you arrive.

An honest note about access

Villa Kitron is not officially wheelchair accessible or completely step-free. The main entrance has one step. Once inside, the ground-floor bedroom, its en-suite bathroom, the kitchen and living areas are on the same level, with no other internal ground-floor level change. From the small ground-floor veranda, 4 steps lead down to the pool, and the two first-floor bedrooms are reached by an internal staircase of 15 steps.

Guests with mobility requirements should speak with Argyris before booking so that the layout can be considered against their individual needs.

Villa Kitron or Villa Myrrini?

Choose Villa Kitron when…

  • You prefer a two-floor villa with three en-suite bedrooms and an additional WC.
  • Integrated hydromassage in the main pool matters more than a children’s pool.
  • A 40 m² first-floor veranda with dining, sitting and views is part of how you imagine the stay.
  • Every bedroom having its own bathroom is important to your group.

Choose Villa Myrrini when…

  • You prefer all three bedrooms and the principal living spaces on the ground floor, while accepting the documented level changes.
  • A separate children’s pool matters to your family.
  • A high wooden ceiling, exposed beams and a calm shared-space atmosphere are stronger priorities.
  • Two bathrooms for three bedrooms work comfortably for your group.

Let the villa set the pace

On a short stay, mix pool time with a nearby beach and an evening in Rethymno. With more days, add Arkadi, Ancient Eleftherna and Margarites, and a slow meal around the BBQ or wood-fired oven. Leave a few days with no plan at all: that’s when the villa is at its best.

Staying together · Villa Kitron

Separate villas, shared time when you choose it

Villa Kitron can be booked independently or combined with Villa Asteri and Villa Myrrini through MAZI. Villa Asteri is very close by, while Villa Myrrini is approximately 60 metres away.

The villas are close enough for shared breakfasts, pool days, dinners and plans, while every household keeps its own accommodation, kitchen, living space, outdoor area and private pool.

MAZI works well for several households, family reunions, groups of friends and wedding-guest accommodation. It is not one shared villa, a resort, a private village or an event venue.
