1. About us
Argyris Skordilis (registered name: ΣΚΟΡΔΙΛΗΣ ΑΡΓΥΡΗΣ, sole proprietorship), trading as Amazing Villas in Crete, Asteri, 74150 Rethymno, Crete, Greece · VAT number EL064196183 · Tax office Rethymno (ΔΟΥ Ρεθύμνου) · GEMI 154400450000 · info@amazingvillasincrete.com · +30 698 085 5085.
ΜΗΤΕ (EOT registration number): Villa Asteri & Villa Kitron 1041Κ91002995101 · Villa Myrrini 1041Κ91003231601 · Villa Argiris 1041Κ91003235701.
2. Bookings
- Direct bookings are made through our booking engine (WebHotelier). The price, the payment schedule and the cancellation policy shown there and in your booking confirmation apply to your stay.
- Prices on this website are shown per night for the whole villa and vary by season. They are a guide; the price in the booking engine for your dates is the one that counts.
- Prices include VAT and the Greek climate resilience fee. The fee is part of the total price but, as the law requires, it is paid at the villa during your stay, not with the deposit. If the guest does not arrive, the fee is not charged.
- MAZI and two-villa stays are booked on request: Argyris sends you a written proposal with the price and conditions.
3. Cancelling a booking
- The cancellation policy that applies to you is the one shown in the booking engine when you book and repeated in your booking confirmation. Read it before you pay; it can differ by villa, by season and by rate.
- There is no 14-day cooling-off period. European consumer law (Consumer Rights Directive, Article 16(l)) gives no right of withdrawal for accommodation booked for a specific date or period. This is normal for holiday accommodation and is not a term we invented; your cancellation policy is what protects you, which is why you should read it.
- If your plans change, tell Argyris as early as you can. Outside the cancellation policy he cannot promise anything, but the earlier he knows, the more chance there is of finding a solution.
- If we ever had to cancel your booking — something we avoid at almost any cost — you would get everything you have paid us back, and help finding somewhere else.
4. Your stay
- Check-in from 15:30, check-out by 11:00.
- Maximum guests: Villa Asteri 8 · Villa Kitron 6 · Villa Myrrini 6 · Villa Argiris 8 · MAZI (Asteri, Kitron and Myrrini together) 20. Babies under 2 do not count towards these numbers.
- The villas are holiday accommodation. Parties and events are not hosted; a small gathering for the guests staying with us may be possible on request, agreed in writing before arrival.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially at the pools. The pools have no lifeguard.
- Experiences (cooking, tastings, private dining and similar) are optional, subject to availability and may be provided by independent local partners under their own terms.
5. Information on this website
We keep the information on this website accurate and review it regularly; each guide shows when it was last reviewed. Distances and driving times are approximate. Opening times, prices and timetables of third parties (museums, buses, beaches, restaurants) can change; please check them before you go.
6. Guest reviews
The reviews shown on this website were written by guests who booked and stayed. They come from Airbnb and Google, where a review can only be left after a completed stay, and we publish them as they were written. We do not write reviews, edit them, pay for them, or take down the ones we would rather not read. Which ones appear on a page is our choice; the complete set is on each villa's Airbnb listing and on our Google listing.
7. Photos and texts
Photos and texts on this website belong to Amazing Villas in Crete or are used with permission. They may not be copied or used elsewhere.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under EU or Greek law. We are not responsible for the content of websites we link to.
9. Complaints and law
If something is not right, please tell Argyris during your stay so he can fix it. For disputes you can also contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr). Greek law applies; this does not remove the protection of the law of the EU country where you live.
Our full complaints procedure, with the time limits we hold ourselves to, is on the Contact and Complaints page.
