Third year in a row at Amazing villas and they truly are! Argiris and his family are perfect hosts and we can't wait to go back next year!

Remarquable et à recommander. La grandeur et l'équipement des 3 villas. La gentillesse du propriétaire. Le propriétaire Argiris est serviable et a répondu à toutes nos attentes et nos demandes. Les 3 villas sont très bien équipées et meublées. La propreté est remarquable et le linge (draps et serviettes) à été changé en milieu de semaine.

This was our first time using Airbnb, so we were slightly nervous. However this proved entirely unfounded. From the point of booking until our final night the host has been incredibly helpful. The property was accurately described. The pool is beautiful and where we spent much of our time. Our two children aged 10 and 13 loved having it all to themselves! The villa is very well equipped and we found we had everything we needed. The location is very peaceful and suited us perfectly. A car is definitely necessary if you wish to do more than just lay by the pool ( which was certainly very tempting)! A great holiday in a lovely property, with an excellent host.

We had a lovely week in Villa Citrus which was very spacious and comfortable for the four of us. We made good use of the upstairs terrace, especially in the mornings for breakfast. The location was ideal, just a short drive to the coast and handy for Rethymno or sites and beaches further afield. Argiris was a very friendly and helpful host. The villa is well equipped and the pool very welcome after a day sightseeing or on the beach. For evenings in, bring your own books and dvds. There are a couple of decent places to eat within walking distance.

Magnifique séjour à Asteri ! La maison ainsi que la piscine sont très agréables et propres. Il y a toutes les commodités nécessaires. A ne pas manquer, le restaurant Poliou House à quelques centaines de mètres.

Our stay was fabulous, I indulged and treated myself for a wkd away with my husband and two friends and we enjoyed every minute. The pool was a perfect temperature and size for our group of 4. We hung out all day on the Sunday to really appreciate the space and explored the area for the Saturday, time stopped and we felt totally on holiday mode. There is a fantastic supermarket, 5 minutes drive away which has everything you should need for a weekend or week stay at the villa, selling good quality and selection of foods. We also found a great beach near by too, which we highly recommend ( from the villa head to the main road, turn right on the main coastal road back to Heraklion and drive 10 mins max.. when you see or cross over a bridge ( your there ) you’ll see that there is a cove and beach underneath the bridge ... so you’ll have to back track and find the road down.. hope this reads clearly as it’s better then all the mass touristy beaches !!!!!. It has the most lovely quiet non touristic wild beach feel and wow a fabulous beach bar with excellently made cocktails ... served in glasses OMG what a find !!! In the evening we drove to Rethymno for a delightful explore and alfresco dining in their delicious Taverna style restaurants.. THIS WAS A perfect getaway .. book 3 nights minimum if you can ... you know you’ll want to when you arrive .. enjoy ..

We've spent time in a lot of Airbnb homes but this experience was by far the best we ever had. The host and his family were outstanding. Communication was super fast and questions always answered. When we mentioned the coffee pot didn't work we had a new one immediately. The home is gorgeous and super well stocked. We were 10 people at the house and never felt crowded. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, towels and other amenities. I just can't say enough about our time there and would visit again in a heartbeat were we to ever stay on Crete in the future. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely lovely villa in quiet and peaceful setting. Amazing views from the roof terrace, lovely pool and outside dining area (including bbq and pizza oven). Argiris was a great host and very accommodating considering that we arrived just after midnight. Ample parking for 2 cars - there were 7 adults and 1 infant in our party. Nearby there are a traditional taverna (Poliou), and a lovely mezze bar (Romeo & Juliet). The beach and Rethymnon are a short drive (10 mins to Platanes, less to Stavromenas), and you can reach the southern coast (Plakias) in an hour. Very well recommended and we would love to visit again!

The villa is beautiful, the view amazing, but the best part is the warmth and hospitality shown by Argyris which made the perfect divine.

Lovely villa in a remote town outside of Rethymno. The Local taverna is good on Thursday night with dancing ! It was a very authentic experience.

We had a lovely stay at the villa. It was clean and ready for us. Our host was extremely hospitable and friendly. He was quick to respond when we had inquiries and gave us some tips for the area. He referred us to his cousin's restaurant a few doors down which was phenomenal. We had such a wonderful time with these special hospitable people. The town is full of friendly helpful residents who made our stay better than we could have imagined.

Wonderful Villa and view. We absolutely loved this place and the village is too cute. Argyris and María was really nice and lovely host. They are extremely hospitable. The pool are fabulous and everything perfect setup. We dreamed we could extend our stay longer. A special Kalimera to Maria.

Stayed here (family of five - two teenage boys and one who has just left college) and had a wonderful relaxing time. The villa was extremely well stocked and the village of Asteri was extremely quiet but only a few minutes drive from more active areas so you could really relax out by the fantastic pool when you were there but the location was fantastic for exploring the island. Argiris was a wonderful host and always quick to respond to any questions.

Amazing villa in a very quiet location, close distance to the beach ( driving 5 min). You have everything for your convenience there, the pool is big enough to take a swim. Argyris is very receptive to requests and even brought us a brand new coffee machine - Thank you! There are 2 very nice restaurants walking distance, i also highly recommend Taverna Fantastiko which is 20 min driving and is worth it - the view is stunning

Tres belle villa, interieur comme exterieur. Hote tres disponible et a l ecoute. Tres bien situee sur la colline, proche de Rethymno et d'Arkadi, un petit havre de paix!
