We had a brilliant 10 day holiday, 6 adults and 2 children. Host extremely friendly and helpful, even when we arrived late he arranged a meal for us at a local restaurant. The villa was cleaned twice during our stay with fresh towels and bedding, which was a real treat. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a great pool, loungers, towels, umbrellas and a great bbq terrace. The beds are really comfortable, rooms spacious, each with own balcony. The living area is generous with plenty of seating. We really enjoyed our stay, a perfect place for a perfect family reunion!

This is a great place to stay. the house and the pools are excellent. we came with a 11 month baby and he enjoyed the small pool a lot. the location is only 3 km from the beach with many supermarkets near by.
the village itself is very nice and has a tavern with great food and a live Greek music every Thursday. don't miss it.
it's also about 25 minutes from rethimno for many restaurants
shops and nightlife.
overall, great vacation due to the spacious house and a great host tat was extremely responsive.
highly recommend!

Amazing villa in a very quiet location, close distance to the beach ( driving 5 min). You have everything for your convenience there, the pool is big enough to take a swim. Argyris is very receptive to requests and even brought us a brand new coffee machine - Thank you! There are 2 very nice restaurants walking distance, i also highly recommend Taverna Fantastiko which is 20 min driving and is worth it - the view is stunning

Stayed here (family of five - two teenage boys and one who has just left college) and had a wonderful relaxing time. The villa was extremely well stocked and the village of Asteri was extremely quiet but only a few minutes drive from more active areas so you could really relax out by the fantastic pool when you were there but the location was fantastic for exploring the island. Argiris was a wonderful host and always quick to respond to any questions.

Beautiful villa - my family (2 children 5 & 7) and I absolutely loved our stay at Argyris’s villa. The pool was beautiful - one of the highlights every day when we came back to the villa after sightseeing and had a cooling jump in the pool! Really appreciated the amenities - lots of towels (bathroom and pool) as well as lots of utensils and everything you need for the kitchen. We also had a welcome pack with bread, orange juice and milk and fresh oranges from the orchard which surrounds the villa. Fantastic when you arrive late at night and have no food when you wake up with 2 hungry small children! Location was fantastic - walking distance to 2 fantastic restaurants and only 5 minutes drive to tavernas by the sea. Only thing I would have liked would be to have a comfier mattress but I am pregnant so I’m obviously a bit fussy when it comes to sleep at the moment! We all loved our stay and are sad to leave - thank you!

Wonderful Villa and view. We absolutely loved this place and the village is too cute. Argyris and María was really nice and lovely host. They are extremely hospitable. The pool are fabulous and everything perfect setup. We dreamed we could extend our stay longer. A special Kalimera to Maria.

We had a lovely stay at the villa. It was clean and ready for us. Our host was extremely hospitable and friendly. He was quick to respond when we had inquiries and gave us some tips for the area. He referred us to his cousin's restaurant a few doors down which was phenomenal. We had such a wonderful time with these special hospitable people. The town is full of friendly helpful residents who made our stay better than we could have imagined.

Lovely villa in a remote town outside of Rethymno. The Local taverna is good on Thursday night with dancing ! It was a very authentic experience.

Agyris` Villa Myrrini liegt in dem kleinen Ort Asteri ca. 10 km vor Rethymno. Der Innenbereich mit 3 Schlafzimmern, einer großen Wohnküche und 1 + 1/2 Badezimmern ist schön und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und ein bißchen mehr. Zauberhaft ist der großzügige Aussenbereich! Neben einer riesigen überdachten Terrasse gibt es einen wunderschönen Poolbereich und eine kleinere Terasse hinter dem Haus. Fussläufig sind zwei richtig gute Tavernen und in 50 Meter Entfernung gibt es einen kleiner Minimarket für das Brot zum Frühstück. Agyris, der Besitzer, hat uns selbst um 22:30 Uhr empfangen, den Kühlschrank hatte er gefüllt nachdem er uns schon im Vorfeld um einen Einkaufsliste gebeten hatte. Nach 4 Tagen ( unserer Halbzeit) wurde das Haus gereinigt, die Betten bezogen und sämtliche Handtücher ausgetauscht. Die Villa Myrrini ist der ideale Platz um himmlisch zu entspannen und ist nicht weit von Rethymno mit seiner schönen Altstadt, vielen Läden und Tavernen. Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit gehabt und können das Haus aus vollem Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Amazing Place! We fell in love with Argyris hospitality. Villa Myrrini is exactly as described and it is an oasis within Crete! It was our first time in Crete and we did a bit of research to try to figure out where to stay. This is a great location to visit Rethymnon, Chania & Eraklion, they are all a must! We rented a car when we arrived at the Heraklion port. We got the opportunity to experience beaches along the Rethymnon Coast and west of Chania. We were visited by Argyris mom on the first morning and she brought some beautiful produce from her garden next to the villa. What a welcome! From the villa it is a quick 5 mn drive to the supermarket and a bakery. There's also a very small convenience store steps away from the villa, that was handy when we needed a quick thing of coffee or water bottles. The Villa has all of the needed amenities and made our stay very pleasant. It is perfect for families, or couples. The beautiful sunsets, the charcoal grill & the wood oven, inspired us to cook with local produce and meats, and we had very memorable evenings. The swimming pool is an added bonus, great temperature, and we got to enjoy it quite a bit in the evenings. The small hill to the villa would give us a 25mn workout and walk into town. Of all our airbnb experiences, this was definitely one of our favorites! Thank you Argyris!

We spent one week in this beautiful villa well equipped, in the back garden there are a swimming pool with sun beds and a large table under a canopy, a barbecue and a wood oven. Everything was very clean and Argyris changed all the bed linen and towels after three days. The house is located in a small village very quiet at few kilometres far from Rethimno. We spent a wonderful holiday thanks also to Argyris's kindness and availability.

We stayed as four couples in Argyris villa and we had a fantastic time - so easy going and we were really able to relax and enjoy ourselves. The villa is really lovely and authentic and was spacious for all of us. Argyris is also very hospitable letting us stay until we needed to catch our late flight - it made our last day so much more enjoyable for not having to worry! The local restaurants are great: Poliou House was great value and very authentic with the traditional dancing on Thursday providing much entertainment for us all! Romeo and Juliet was also amazing value and delicious food - would recommend both highly! Local area is lovely and quiet and just enough off the beaten track to unwind but close enough to enjoy local conveniences.

Notre hôte était toujours disponible rapidement. Nous avons manqué d’électricité durant quelques heures, mais cela était hors du contrôle de notre hôte. Cependant, il s’est tout de même assuré que quelqu’un vienne nous en informer. La villa est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et est très propre. Plusieurs meubles ont été faits par le propriétaire, ils sont uniques et magnifiques. Les matelas sont un peu durs, mais cela est largement compensé par tout le confort de la villa. La piscine est magnifique et la cour arrière très bien ménagée. Cependant, il faut se protéger des moustiques qui sont très voraces. Il est intéressant de noter que le matin, une voiture contenant des fruits et des légumes passe devant la villa et il est possible d’en acheter. De même, plusieurs petites épiceries sont accessibles et on y trouve du fromage fêta extraordinairement bon. La veille de notre départ, notre hôte est venu nous porter un gâteau en nous souhaitant un bon voyage de retour. Si vous décidez de louer cette villa, vous ne serez certainement pas déçue. Absolutely lovely villa in quiet and peaceful setting. Amazing views from the roof terrace, lovely pool and outside dining area (including bbq and pizza oven). Argiris was a great host and very accommodating considering that we arrived just after midnight. Ample parking for 2 cars - there were 7 adults and 1 infant in our party. Nearby there are a traditional taverna (Poliou), and a lovely mezze bar (Romeo & Juliet). The beach and Rethymnon are a short drive (10 mins to Platanes, less to Stavromenas), and you can reach the southern coast (Plakias) in an hour. Very well recommended and we would love to visit again!

A fantastic villa with lovely outside areas and everything you might need for a great stay. A couple of nice restaurants an easy walk away was a great bonus. The villa is in a lovely quiet hamlet with gorgeous views from the roof terrace. Our host was helpful and generally responded quickly to our requests and left a beautiful cake for us on our last day- a lovely touch.

We've spent time in a lot of Airbnb homes but this experience was by far the best we ever had. The host and his family were outstanding. Communication was super fast and questions always answered. When we mentioned the coffee pot didn't work we had a new one immediately. The home is gorgeous and super well stocked. We were 10 people at the house and never felt crowded. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, towels and other amenities. I just can't say enough about our time there and would visit again in a heartbeat were we to ever stay on Crete in the future. Highly recommend!!!

Our stay was fabulous, I indulged and treated myself for a wkd away with my husband and two friends and we enjoyed every minute. The pool was a perfect temperature and size for our group of 4. We hung out all day on the Sunday to really appreciate the space and explored the area for the Saturday, time stopped and we felt totally on holiday mode. There is a fantastic supermarket, 5 minutes drive away which has everything you should need for a weekend or week stay at the villa, selling good quality and selection of foods. We also found a great beach near by too, which we highly recommend ( from the villa head to the main road, turn right on the main coastal road back to Heraklion and drive 10 mins max.. when you see or cross over a bridge ( your there ) you’ll see that there is a cove and beach underneath the bridge ... so you’ll have to back track and find the road down.. hope this reads clearly as it’s better then all the mass touristy beaches !!!!!. It has the most lovely quiet non touristic wild beach feel and wow a fabulous beach bar with excellently made cocktails ... served in glasses OMG what a find !!! In the evening we drove to Rethymno for a delightful explore and alfresco dining in their delicious Taverna style restaurants.. THIS WAS A perfect getaway .. book 3 nights minimum if you can ... you know you’ll want to when you arrive .. enjoy ..

וילה מדהימה, יפה ומעוצבת. נקיה מאוד. בריכת שחיה מצוינת. מתאים מאוד לשני זוגות עם ילדים. מקום שקט ונעים לאוירה פרטית משפחתית. יש רעש חזק במהלך היום של חרקים מעופפים בעצים שמסביב, אבל זו תופעה שקיימת בהרבה מקומות בכרתים וניתן להתעלם ממנה. זה לא פגם בהנאה הרבה שלנו מהמקום.

When we arrived late in the evening at the villa we were very impressed. With the lighting of the pool and the terrace it looks just beautiful. The villa has generally a lot of nice details and it is well maintained. We enjoyed the quiet environment. In the pool -where has a good size to swim- we were daily. With agyris as superhost it was very uncomplicated and he always answered quickly.

We had a lovely week in Villa Citrus which was very spacious and comfortable for the four of us. We made good use of the upstairs terrace, especially in the mornings for breakfast. The location was ideal, just a short drive to the coast and handy for Rethymno or sites and beaches further afield. Argiris was a very friendly and helpful host. The villa is well equipped and the pool very welcome after a day sightseeing or on the beach. For evenings in, bring your own books and dvds. There are a couple of decent places to eat within walking distance.

This was our first time using Airbnb, so we were slightly nervous. However this proved entirely unfounded. From the point of booking until our final night the host has been incredibly helpful. The property was accurately described. The pool is beautiful and where we spent much of our time. Our two children aged 10 and 13 loved having it all to themselves! The villa is very well equipped and we found we had everything we needed. The location is very peaceful and suited us perfectly. A car is definitely necessary if you wish to do more than just lay by the pool ( which was certainly very tempting)! A great holiday in a lovely property, with an excellent host.

Remarquable et à recommander. La grandeur et l'équipement des 3 villas. La gentillesse du propriétaire. Le propriétaire Argiris est serviable et a répondu à toutes nos attentes et nos demandes. Les 3 villas sont très bien équipées et meublées. La propreté est remarquable et le linge (draps et serviettes) à été changé en milieu de semaine.
